We're making a f***ing album in a day.
BUT HOW you ask?
Twice this summer, the keyboardist James Buckland and I have written, produced and recorded two EPs, each in under eight hours. My plan of attack is to get a house filled with the most interesting musicians I can find and go at it.
No, this won't be the next Sergeant Pepper's, but you can tell people you made an album in a day. That's pretty cool.
Here's how we do it:
-Everyone brings a chord chart/harmonic progression of their own design.
-The earliest people show up at 10 AM.
-We record some f***ing tunes.
-We break for lunch.
-We record more f***ing tunes.
-People leave in the evening.
-We master the f***ng tunes.
-We release it to critical acclaim.
Any ideas/suggestions, please feel free to contact me. Invite people, but let me know how many people we should expect.
