Please don't sue us. We arranged our own rendition of Vege-tables as a sort of tip of the hat to master Wilson, and also because IT'S A FUN SONG. The bluegrass feel of the bass's constant V-I and the warm coalition of the folk harmonies add to the frivolous spirit of what seems like a rather nonsensical song. Who throws away the candy and eats the wrapper? Even a drunk person doesn't do that. Just one of the many inexplicable phenomena of the world. Kirk and I hope you're jumpin' up and down while eating a carrot listening to this tune as we loved to embark on numerous culinary adventures of our own during our 400 days of recording. Sometimes it was pumpkin muffins, other times it was irresistible mac n' cheese. But there's nothing like a good full plate of vegetables to make you feel better.

lyrics
I'm gonna be round my vegetables,
I'm gonna chow down my vegetables.
I love you most of all,
my favorite vegetable.
If you brought a big brown bag of them home,
I'd jump up and down and hope you'd toss me a carrot.
I'm gonna keep well my vegetables,
cart off and sell my vegetables.
I love you most of all,
my favorite vegetable
I tried to kick the ball but my tenny flew right off.
I'm red as a beet 'cause I'm so embarrassed.
Mom and Daddy said:
sleep a lot, eat a lot,
brush 'em like a crazy.
Run a lot, do a lot
never be lazy.
I threw away my candy bar
and I ate the wrapper,
and when they told me what I did
I burst into laughter.
I know that you'll feel better when
you send us in your letter and
tell us the name of your,
your favorite vegetable.
